The band members of Megalodon Collective all have a background from the jazz program at the university in Trondheim, and are sentral on the Norwegian jazz scene. You may know some of them from Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. The debut album Megalodon (2015) was well received with a nomination for the Norwegian grammy, and followed by extensive touring. They also took home the prize of “Young jazz musicians of the year 2016” at Moldejazz.
